Why we started
Born in the aftermath of Ian.
When Hurricane Ian swept through Southwest Florida in September 2022, it destroyed fences by the thousands. Keilly Trujillo was visiting her father Franklin in Port Charlotte when the storm hit. Two months later, she'd left Texas for good, filed the LLC, and started True Fence Florida with her father to help their neighbors rebuild.
Three years later, we've installed fences for thousands of SWFL families and built a reputation the old-fashioned way. Same-day responses, clean installs, and crews that show up when they say they will. That's how we went from a post-storm response to a trusted local fence company with 137 five-star Google reviews.

Most fence contractors are days or weeks out. We reply Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.
Full permit handling
When permit handling is part of the project scope, we pull required permits under our Florida contractor's license. For HOA-governed communities, we prepare a submission-ready HOA package (site plan, spec sheet, drawing, color sample) that you submit to your board.

Every estimate is a full package: site plan, material specs, licensing + insurance, payment terms, and a firm timeline.

A note on warranties
Why our workmanship warranty is 1 year.
You'll see some fence companies advertise “lifetime workmanship warranty.” It's a great headline. The fine print usually isn't. Most lifetime warranties in this industry exclude weather, settlement, modifications, ownership transfer, and annual inspection lapses. After all the exclusions, they function like a 1-year warranty with more fine print.
We took a different approach. Our coverage is two real layers you can actually use:

Manufacturer warranty
Lifetime on most vinyl and aluminum. 10 to 25 years on steel, wood, and composite. We pass through the full factory coverage on every product we install.
Layer 2
1-year workmanship
Covers installation defects we'd stand behind regardless. 15-day claim window, 45-day resolution. Real terms, written down, not buried.
