Fence height depends on the jurisdiction and community rules. Sarasota County generally allows 8 feet in back and side yards, while North Port has a specific 8-foot variance path that requires a permit, engineer sign-off, and a 150 mph wind-rated design.

Pool adjacency

If your privacy fence is also your pool barrier, it has to meet pool code. That's spacing, gate hardware, and no climbable members within 45 inches of ground. We account for both requirements in the design.
